If you've seen our cat before you could learn not to love them ;P

lol...
Our cat is not fat, or a slob. She's a small, deceptively cute, playful and downright evil cat ;P She is about two years old now, and looks like the second picture you posted only a bigger version.... I think she can't decide if she is a cat or dog though because she plays fetch, and growls at visitors. ;P

Ahh, so you have one of those crazy ninja assassin cats? My dad had one of those. I couldn't play PS2 without it jumping on my head and scratching me. I still loved it though!

Yes it is a crazy ninja cat - only spawned from the depths. She's nice to my oldest bro and sis, my other bro she likes because he's rough with her. Everyone else she just scratches, bites and growls at. ;P When she was a kitten she would curl up in my lap purring, then she slowly turned mean.
I wanna get a Husky - coolest dogs evar! ;P

Correction> Coolest dog in the world is the Pharaoh hound.
Oldest breed on earth
Smartest (but stubborn)
They can smile (they show their teeth slightly)
They blush if embarrassed.
They have no genetic medical issues
They are faster then a greyhound and have better scent receptors then a bloodhound. (A perfect sight and scent hound combination)
They never smell, even when wet.
They don't shed enough to even notice.
They are EXTREMELY rare.
PUPPIES!

According the AKC, there are only 1,851 registered Pharaoh hounds in the US, probably around another 200 or so that are not registered. So that means approx 2,100-2,200 in the US total.

Wow, that's loads less than I thought. Just seeing one of those seems to be rare.

Bingo. The wikipedia article states that genetic testing has discovered that they are not an ancient breed at all, but it then links to some retarded website from a "professional". I LOL @ Wikipedia anymore.
Two of them are depicted on a disc used in a game from 4000 BC.
King Abuwtiyuw of the Egyptian Dynasties had a Pharaoh hound who he loved very much. He was mummified with him and given hundreds of pounds of gold to be buried with him.
They do resemble the god Anubis, which is why the Egyptians so liked them. They saw them as wonderful companions, and as an extension of the god of the dead. They were seen as a regal dog by the Egyptians, and well respected for their hunting prowess and friendly demeanor.

And they really are nice companions!
And... wow.... I didn't think Wikipedia would be that bad.
I mean... C'mon, a GAME??? A professional using an image from a game? I loled at that.
